• Treat each child with respect and dignity.

• Deliver quality instruction that meets the individual needs of students.

• Provide active, engaging, and purposeful lessons daily.

• Create a safe, positive, and healthy learning environment for all students.

• Provide an equal and quality educational opportunity for every student.

• Communicate clear expectations for attendance, class work and homework to students and parents.

• Use various forms of communication regularly to inform parents on their child’s progress, and use translators when necessary.

• Set high instructional standards for myself that I might effectively deliver the state and district’s standards and benchmarks.

Parent

I understand that my participation in my child’s education will help his/her achievement and attitude. Therefore, I will continue to carry out the following responsibilities to the best of my ability:

• Make sure my child has good hygiene, nutrition, and sleeping habits.

• Ensure that my child attends school each day.

• Support learning by ensuring that daily homework is completed and returned.

• Review weekly school communications and respond promptly.

• Attend various school functions and conferences to support the school.

• Communicate educational concerns with teachers.

• Actively participate in decisions relating to my child’s education.

• Supply school with current contact information.

Students 

I realize that my education is important. I want to reach my full academic potential. Therefore, I agree to carry out the following responsibilities to the best of my ability:

• Arrive at school on time and be prepared to learn.

• Be responsible, respectful, and safe.

• Listen to my teachers and be respectful of all people and property.

• Do my best each day! Think, participate, and ask questions.

• Be a good citizen and practice the code of conduct.

• Be responsible for my behavior and be the best student that I can be.

• Complete my homework and give full effort, and turn in on time.

Entendemos la importancia de la experiencia escolar de cada alumno y nuestro papel como educadores en ayudar a cada niño a alcanzar su mayor potencial académico. Por lo tanto estamos de acuerdo en llevar a cabo las siguientes responsabilidades con nuestra mejor capacidad:

• Tratar a cada niño con respeto y dignidad.

• Dar instrucciones con calidad para satisfacer las necesidades individuales de los estudiantes.

• Proveer lecciones activas, atractivas y útiles diariamente.

• Crear un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro, positivo y saludable para los estudiantes.

• Proveer una oportunidad de igualdad y calidad educativa para todos los estudiantes.

• Comunicar expectativas claramente para asistencia, trabajo en clase y tareas a los estudiantes y padres.

• Utilizar regularmente varias formas de comunicación para informar a los padres sobre el progreso de sus hijos y usar traductor cuando sea necesario.

• Establecer altos estándares educativos para mí mismo que me podrían ayudar a comunicar los estándares y puntos de referencia del estado y del distrito.
